Walk as if Your Life Depended on it. It Does!
The facts are irrefutable: you live longer and have an improved quality of life if you’re a walker. Recent medical studies indicate that walkers live at least 5-10 years longer than non-walkers, and in many cases up to 15-20 years longer.
In a recent study conducted on over 17,000 Harvard school graduates, it was determined that those people who exercised regularly lived significantly longer than those who remained sedentary. Those individuals who exercised consistently had a significantly lower incidence of heart attacks and strokes than those in the sedentary group. And the exercise that most of these graduates reported was – walking. Those that walked the most had the lowest incidence of early death. Walking adds years to your life and life to your years. Walk as if your life depended on it. It Does!
